PolyUp is a new Division of Ewing & Ray Foundation Services. E&R has been in the Foundation Repair Business since 1968 and are always looking for improvements in technology that allows us to better serve our clients.
The improvement in polyurethane and the injection methods, have created a way to repair concrete in a less invasive way.
How is this done?
Polyurethane Foam is injected under the concrete as a means of lifting, void filling and stabilizing the concrete. A 5/8” diameter hole will be drilled through the slab and into the sub-grade below. The injection equipment will pump a polyurethane material under the concrete and expansion of the materials occurs within seconds, compressing the soils and lifting the concrete. The lifting of the concrete is done with controlled amounts of incremental injections of the polyurethane. The foam will fully expand within 10 – 15 seconds which allows us to monitor the lifting of the concrete and helps prevent over lifting of the area. The foam will be at 90% strength in 15 minutes thus allowing usage as soon as we leave the area.
This can be utilized on sidewalks, driveways, patios and on the interior of the residence without the mess of tearing out the concrete slab.
Why replace it when you can repair it for half the cost?
